A Nikkah Wedding Ceremony at Kitchener Public Library KPL Emptage Photography

A Beautiful Nikkah Wedding Ceremony at Kitchener Public Library

I was so excited to be part of this beautiful Nikkah ceremony at Kitchener Public Library. The styled shoot brought together a talented group of local wedding vendors to create an elegant, modern  wedding celebration, and I loved getting to photograph all the thoughtful details and getting to know all the vendors and models. The images were also featured in the Fall/Winter 2026 edition of The Wedding Ring Magazine, which made the whole experience feel pretty special.

A Beautiful Setting in Downtown Kitchener

Kitchener Public Library is such an interesting place to photograph a celebration like this. The Reading Lounge is filled with natural light from its floor-to-ceiling windows, while upstairs, the balcony offers another beautiful perspective with its colourful pink details. There are also plenty of opportunities to step outside into the library's courtyard, a tucked-away garden space surrounded by the downtown buildings. Everywhere you turn, there is something a little different to photograph.
I’m also excited to be a preferred photography vendor at Kitchener Public Library. I love having the opportunity to photograph weddings and events in a space with so many different areas to work with, from the beautiful natural light and floor-to-ceiling windows to the balcony and tucked-away courtyard. If you'd like to see more of the library as a wedding setting, you can also take a look at my Kitchener Public Library wedding gallery. It’s a really unique setting in the heart of downtown Kitchener, and one I’m always happy to photograph in.

The Nikkah Wedding Publication

The Nikkah was the heart of this wedding publication, with so many beautiful details coming together to create the inspiration for a stunning wedding day. From the ceremony setup and florals to the stationery and smaller details, everything was thoughtfully styled. It gave me lots to photograph, and I loved looking for the little moments, textures and details that brought the whole setting together.

It was such a pleasure to be part of this beautiful Nikkah wedding editorial, and I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to photograph it at Kitchener Public Library. A big thank you to everyone who brought this shoot together, and to The Wedding Ring for featuring the images in their Fall/Winter issue. I’m looking forward to photographing more celebrations at this beautiful Kitchener venue.
